Funeral services for Elridge Savoy (sic Eldridge Savoie), 60, of Opelousas, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Burial will be in Bellevue Memorial Park under direction of the First National Funeral Home.

Savoy died suddenly at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at his home on the Opelousas-Eunice Highway. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors are his widow, the former Hilda Labbe of Opelousas; five sons, Sam L. and Bernard A. Savoy of Houston, Tex.; Leon G., Arthur and Michael Savoy, all of Opelousas; and one daughter, Mrs. Allen Speyrer of Lafayette.
