Died 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, 1994, at her residence in Prairieville. She was 76 and a native of Sunset. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, 3 to 9 p.m. Friday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel, 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Prairieville, at 10 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Laird. Burial in Prairieville Community Cemetery. Survived by husband, Smiley J. Babin, Prairieville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Alice B. and Ben Weaver, Mary B. and David Guedry, both of Donaldsonville, and Nettie B. and Bernard LeBlanc, Baton Rouge; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Verna Miziner Burleigh, Prairieville; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren;and a great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by parents, Adelbuart and Lillian Richard Wills; a daughter, Lillian Pearl Margaret Burleigh; a grandson, Randy LeBlanc; and three brothers, Easton, Weston and Jules Wills. Pallbearers will be Glenn and Bernard LeBlanc, Scott Burleigh, David Guedry, Ben Weaver and C.J. Arceneaux.
